Blue Remarkables
Original Woodblock Print / Limited Edition
‘Blue Remarkables’ is a handmade woodblock relief print inspired by the ‘Remarkables’ mountains range seen by the artist while visiting Queenstown, New Zealand which are just one of two ranges on earth that run directly north to south. This print was recently featured in an exhibit at the Spartanburg Art Museum in Spartanburg, SC showcasing artists displaced by Hurricane Helene. Each print in this edition is a hand-pulled ink rubbing printed using traditional block printing methods and are each considered original works of art, not digital reproductions. Due to the nature of printmaking by hand, slight variations or nuances may exist from one print to another. This is to be expected and demonstrates the true nature of printmaking and of an original handmade artwork.
