‘Helene Pine - Bee Tree Road, Swannanoa,NC’is a hand-pressed tree ring ink impression made from the end grain cross section of a downed pine tree salvaged from the debris of Hurricane Helene in Swannanoa, NC. Each print in this edition is a hand-pulled ink rubbing printed on archival paper using traditional block printing methods. Due to the nature of printmaking by hand, slight variations or nuances may exist from one print to another. This is to be expected and demonstrates the true nature printmaking and of an original handmade artwork.
